During the last two weeks in January each year, communities nationwide conduct a point-in-time (PIT) count of persons experiencing homelessness. Collier County conducted the PIT Thursday, January 23. The community wide effort, led by the Hunger and Homeless Coalition, is possible through the collaboration of: partner agencies that provide social services, mental health services, veterans’ services, and homeless assistance; local government and the public school district; business and civic organizations

Get Help Clinics in Naples & Immokalee

The Coalition will host Get Help Clinics in Naples and Immokalee at the end of January. The Naples clinic will be held Thursday, January 23 from 3 pm until 6:30 pm at the Tree of Life Church, 2132 Shadowlawn Drive.  Representatives from various health and social service agencies will be providing health related counseling and referrals, including flu shots, vision and dental screenings, and hearing tests.  VA representatives will be available
