Prevention

For many hard working people in Collier County the loss of a job or a sudden illness can quickly lead to homelessness. Individuals and families at risk of homelessness often need only temporary services to pull through an unfortunate situation. Many will recover with coordinated case management and emergency financial assistance.

Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-housing programs keep individuals and families at risk of homelessness from becoming homeless and assists persons experiencing homelessness to be quickly re-housed and stabilized.

Partnerships for Prevention

The Hunger & Homeless Coalition’s Partnerships for Prevention Program provides at-risk individuals and families with emergency assistance to prevent homelessness as funding permits.

Our partner agencies provide intake assessments and case management services and the Hunger & Homeless Coalition disburses funds directly to the landlord after appropriate documentation.
