July 29, 2017 the Hunger & Homeless Coalition in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Collier County and the Collier County Public School District will be hosting “Christmas in July” for homeless and at-risk students.
The project is attended to assist 800 plus homeless and at-risk students in the school district with school supplies and clothing. The partnership will raising donations and accepting brand new school supplies and clothing through the end of June. The Institute is a premier event providing training opportunities to professionals in the state of Florida. Attendees learn new and innovative ways to collectively assist individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The Institute brings together national, state and local experts from a wide range of disciplines to explore current best practices on ending homelessness and supportive housing. The Institute places an emphasis on networking and helping attendees develop long term relationships with their peers to help support them with their daily ongoing efforts to serve Florida’s most vulnerable citizens.

The Institute will be hosted on November 1-3, 2017 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, Florida.
