The majority of homeless individuals and those at-risk of homelessness can become self-sufficient with the effective coordination of services.  The Collier County Hunger and Homeless Coalition was created in 1989 with this in mind.  Its mission is to support the planning, delivery and coordination of high quality services to the hungry, the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.  The Coalition works collaboratively with local social service agencies, consumer advocates, and volunteers to address gaps in services and provide a safety net for vulnerable members of our community.
